Every tool wraps the same REST endpoints documented in the public AssetEdge API Reference — the connector adds no data paths that don't already exist in the platform API.
Each user authorizes the connector individually through AssetEdge's OAuth flow. There are no shared API keys and no service accounts — Claude acts as the authenticated user, never with elevated access.
All access is confined to the workspaces the authenticating user belongs to. Data from other tenants is never visible.
The connector inherits AssetEdge's role-based permission model. A user who cannot see or edit something in the AssetEdge app cannot see or edit it through Claude.
Read operations and write operations are governed by separate permission scopes, so organizations can enable read-only evaluation before allowing writes.
